What To Expect When Applying
Bar managers do not look for the normal skills that most jobs require. To work at a bar, you will need an outgoing personality. Many people come to the bar expecting someone to talk to about their day. You also must have a neat appearance. You will be required to take and remember orders. Numerical skills are needed because you will be handling money from the customers. You should also have the ability to lift heavy crates and boxes for restocking the bar. A flexible schedule is needed. Most of the time you will be working in the evenings, on weekends and holidays. These are the times that bars are at their peak. You also must be at least 18 years of age to work in a bar. In some states, you can work as an apprentice at the age of 16.
What is the RMLV course
The RMLV course is the Responsible Management of Licensed Venues. You learn how to take complete care of your customers while making sure your neighbors of the establishment are not disturbed. if you expect to obtain the Queensland Approved Manager License, you must take the RMLV course. After taking the course and passing all of the requirements, you will receive the RMLV certificate. The RMLV certificate shows that you have learned all of the license laws and understand about intoxication and refusal of service. You will also learn to provide responsibility to your staff.
